The University of Memphis Center for Community Criminology and Research (C3R) houses the Community Information Program (designed to operate in conjunction with the Community Safety Information System developed by the National Institute of Justice as part of SACSI), the Mid-South Training Institute which provides training and continuing education for law enforcement, and the Mid-South Social Survey Program. Through these resources the C3R provides research and evaluation support and training to many municipal and county criminal justice agencies.
